Candidates for Awards Wanted

Women's Opportunity Award	The awards improve the lives of women by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects. We assist women in overcoming personal difficulties and improving their lives through education and skills training. We help women achieve their dreams of a better life for themselves and their families.
Make a Difference for Women Award	The award acknowledges women who are working to improve the lives of women and girls through their personal or professional activities. Examples of the type of work honored include: spearheading an effort to open a domestic violence shelter, working to secure health services for low-income women, starting a mentoring program for at-risk girls, or lobbing companies to provide on-site child care.
Violet Richardson Award	ward honors girls who are making a difference through volunteer service. Each year, Soroptimist clubs honor girls who donate their time and energy to causes that make the community and world a better place— such as working to end discrimination and poverty, assisting women and children who are victims of domestic violence, or mentoring young girls.
